Can you believe it is already November?! Wow! I am linking up with Farley's November Currently!
Am I the only teacher who hates grading essay's?! They can be so subjective and I really dislike grading them, but I have 20 waiting on me so I better get going!
Several years ago I found classical CD's at Dollar Tree and bought several of them. I use them in the morning when kids come in and during independent reading/small groups! I could use some upgrades in the music department so I am going to be checking out some of the music you all are mentioning on this Currently!
I am coming over from Oh Boy 4th grade! I am your newest follower! :) I must agree, a shopping trip at Old Navy would be fab right about now! Our weather just went from scorching hot to freezing cold and I desperately need some pants. It doesn't help that they stalk me constantly with coupons in my email! Hopefully we will both get to shop soon!

Hi Lana, I hopped over from the November Currently. I, too, live in the South and football just seems to be a LARGE part of our Saturday's. I teach 5th grade Math/Science. Do you use writing prompts from across the curriculum or are the prompts specified by your County, etc.?

ReplyDeleteGood luck with those essays! You should see if you can snag a writing rubric; makes things a lot easier to grade.
