I am linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for another Monday Made It! I just love these Monday Made It's. I've gotten so much inspiration from them! This week I don't have anything too spectacular to share. I've been on vacation in Tennessee with family, so I have a good reason!
I love the pom poms that you make out of tissue paper. Last year I had several in my room but they were beyond dusty and didn't match my blue/green theme. I made about 8 total and hung them up in my room last week. I love them. Super easy to make!
I've debated putting the next thing on here because I didn't MAKE IT, but put it together. I don't know about you, but my car is the most un-organized place I have. Between my two year old's toys, DVD's, and just junk, I had to have a plan on getting it organized. So, I bought this tote at Wal-Mart. Inside I have some of my son's DVD's (let's face it, they are a lifesaver on long road trips, like driving to TN last week!), diapers, wipes, snacks, a cookie sheet with animal magnets, coloring books, and crayons.
It was great for a long road trip, but I also think it'll be good to keep in the car anytime so everything is located in one place!
Your pom-poms turned out so cute! That is on my to do list too.

OK I'm really going to show my age, but when I was a kid we used to make the pom poms all the time, we called them tissue paper flowers! lol
ReplyDeleteYours turned out great! I wish I had some way to keep my car clean, my 9 year old is constantly leaving her stuff in the car or spilling something.

Cute pom poms and great car idea:) I even keep an adult bag of necessities in my car:)
ReplyDeleteI think they turned out cute! I definitely agree about the messy car situation. Mine is disastrous. And you would think that with it being summer I would CLEAN IT OUT! But.. I still have yet to do that. I think you have inspired me to make it happen!

I love the pom poms!! I wanted to try that but I'm thinking that it won't turn out as nice as the ones that I've seen. Great job! :)

Lana,
ReplyDeleteI love your pom-poms! Is there a tutorial on how to make them because I wanted something along those lines to hang from my ceiling at school to brighten things up but don't want to spend an arm and a leg! Also, I have that same tote from Walmart! :) I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for yet though! :)

I too was hoping for a pom pom tutorial... I have bought them in the past but never had the chance to take apart and learn the best way to make them. Could you provide the steps? Yours look great!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Roberta
