Today I am linking up with Blog Hoppin' for Back to School week. Today's theme is Where Tuesday - Show us your digs!
This year I am teaching at a new school (new district & new state) so this is my first year in this room. It's a good bit smaller than my previous room so I've had to make adjustments. I didn't bring my two green Adirondack chairs or a book shelf I had, just because I don't have the space for them. This room has a lot of nice qualities, like great storage space, which ironically isn't pictured.
I have three pictures of the room at a glance from three different angles. This view is what you see as soon as you enter the classroom.
This is the view from the back of the classroom, looking towards the board.
This photo was taken from the front of the room. You can see my large bulletin board.
This is a closer glance at the bulletin board. I divided it into 4 sections which will hold my word wall, CAFE menu, Daily 5 posters, and calendar.
One of my favorite things about this room is the huge wooden bookshelf in my teacher corner. It is GREAT for storage!
I love my little library area and the view outside the window. Everything is lush and green and just so pretty. It's so hard to get a good picture of this area with the light.
I made this banner last year and have it displayed for Open House or other special events.
Head over to Blog Hoppin' to link up, too!
I love the view from your window!! My view was cut down a couple years ago to make room for mobile classes. :( everything looks great!!
